CoAid Refugee Ministry in USA

Printer-friendly versionSend to friend

CoAid supports the needs of refugees in a very practical way by helping them overcome the challenges of resettling in a new country. Many refugees arrive with only the clothes they are wearing and very little else. They often have nothing to cook with or keep themselves warm at night. Their children are sometimes without toys and basic medicines to help fight coughs and colds.

CoAid is helping new refugee families with basic needs such as cooking pots, kitchen utensils, rice, blankets, warm clothes and toys for their children - things that we often take for granted.

Many refugee families are not able to work immediately after they arrive. The have inadequate financial support and do not receive foodstamps in a timely manner. We are finding that the families struggle to put food on their table.

We need help to stock our food pantry that will help feed these people.
