Haiti Assessment Trip #6

Woke at 4.45am for 5am ride to UN base. Pastor G awoke to see me go. Prayed with pastor. He knelt on both knees and prayed with great humility. Arrived at UN base at 5.30am – no one awake… so much for leaving at 6am!

Finally set off at about 9am. Long bus drive back to SD. Took a different route back than the one we came. Jeff C at Vision Airlines sent text to say there is a charter flight from Port-au-Prince at 1.30am Tuesday AM… wish I knew that earlier, could have spent 1 more day in Haiti.

Arrived Santa Domingo at about 6pm. No room at Quality Inn – team snuck me in and allowed me to stay in one of their rooms. The TNM team has been very friendly and helpful – a God-send!
