Haiti Assessment Trip #1

Denver to Miami today. American Airlines allowed up to 250lbs checked luggage, gratis, no questions asked. 1 medical box (containing bottles of iodine) was opened and inspected.

Arrived MIiami and found Vision Airlines desk hoping to catch medical charter into Port-au-Prince. Happened to meet Kim and Mari (both dressed in scrubs), YWAM nurses who arrived on military C-140 transport from Haiti. Was told Vision would try and get me on flight next day.

Called Sue H debriefer for RescueNet. Took shuttle bus to Comfort Inn. Met Sue at hotel. Checked in, showered and made a few calls. Sue and I went for dinner and discussed YWAM, RescueNet, Haiti.

10pm called K-Love, spoke with Larry Wayne and updated listeners on CoAid and Haiti.

Hope I get the flight tomorrow!
