Human Trafficking Awareness Day

Much of what CoAid does to assist vulnerable communities relates to the sad reality of forced migration: people made homeless through natural disasters, people made refugees by conflict, people forced to seek asylum due to harsh political regimes, and people forced into modern-day slavery.

The emotional, spiritual, practical, and social support CoAid provides acts as a tool of prevention to the tragedy of human trafficking that pervades the communities in which we serve.

Here in the United States, Monday January 11th has been formally announced by President Obama as "Human Trafficking Awareness Day".

As a way of marking this occasion CoAid invites you to:

  1. Pray for victims to be identified and helped, and for the healing of survivors.
  2. Connect with organizations seeking to end human trafficking in your communities.
  3. Vote for CoAid on Facebook - go to http://www.coaid.org/vote for all the details.

Having already won $25,000, your important vote could create a realistic opportunity for CoAid to win up to $1,000,000. These funds would be used to assist vulnerable communities in such a way that would prevent adults and children from falling prey to unscrupulous slave holders and helping potential victims lead lives of wholeness.

Please vote for CoAid on January 15th and make this week a week of difference.

God bless you,

Steve Neill
President, CoAid
