World Vision attacked in Pakistan

Our prayers are with the families of the victims. 6 staff were killed and 8 injured in an unprovoked attack on the World Vision offices in Mansehra on 10th March.

CoAid delivers in Haiti

However, one of the limiting factors in an effective emergency medical response in the underdeveloped countries is that of sterilization capability. This restraining issue was attended to recently when Hope Force International partnered with CoAid to deliver a desperately needed autoclave to Adventist Hospital in Port au Prince, Haiti.
On the passing of Savitri
Submitted by steveneill on 2 March 2010 - 10:43amA few days ago I received an email from our India representative, Bhargava Kurapati, on the sad news that a woman named Savitri had passed away after a long fight with cancer. Last year we told you about Savitri. She came from a very poor Hindu family, and through our witness, gave her life to Christ.

Last week my good friend Dan McCutcheon approached me and said he wanted to arrange a benefit concert for CoAid's work Haiti. I said "go for it!".
Well, Dan's really going to town on this thing -- I'm impressed and encouraged by the level of support and interest as we seek to help the people of Haiti at this incredibly difficult time.
